Lobbying Print E-mail

In the event of a legislation to establish hunting under licence, supervised by an outside body the CHA will:

  • present facts and insight into the ways in which the range of hunting practices will be affected by such legislation.


  • demonstrate the impact on the welfare of wildlife in general and on the quarry species in particular.


  • emphasise how the current self-regulatory process overseen by ISAH works and how it might create a practicable model for the future.
 
Forum for members Print E-mail

The CHA will continue to act as a forum for the Hunting Associations to review standards of best practice and consider campaigns.
 
Hunt evidence Print E-mail

The CHA will continue to collect and commission research into the wildlife management function of hunting.

It will respond in detail to Government consultation about hunting and use the accumulated evidence to provide a strong argument for the utility of hunting.

It will provide the backbone to the Countryside Alliance’s promotion of hunting in the media and to the public.
